FITKIND DATA RIGHTS NOTICE
Last Update: 2 April 2026
Effective Date: 2 April 2026
This page explains the privacy and data rights available to people who use FitKind, especially users in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area.
It is a practical companion to the full Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this page and the full Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy governs.

Your Core Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and the laws that apply to you, you may have the right to:
1. Access
Ask whether FitKind processes your personal data and request a copy of that data.
2. Rectification
Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
3. Erasure
Ask us to delete your personal data where there is no overriding legal reason for us to keep it.
4. Restriction
Ask us to limit how we process your data in specific situations.
5. Portability
Ask for certain personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
6. Objection
Object to processing based on legitimate interests in certain circumstances.
7. Withdraw Consent
Where FitKind relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already happened lawfully before withdrawal.
8. Complaint
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.
For UK users, that authority is the Information Commissioner's Office (www.ico.org.uk).
What Data You Can Request
You may request information relating to data FitKind holds about you, including where applicable:
- Account details
- Workout and activity records
- Body measurements and progress data
- Uploaded media and progress photos
- Health-connected data that FitKind stores after sync
- Support correspondence
- Profile and subscription information
Some information may not be available for export in exactly the same format it appears in-app, but we will respond with a lawful and reasonable format where required.
How to Make a Request
FitKind provides in-app controls for export and account deletion where available. You can also make a privacy or data rights request by email:
privacy@fitkind.app
For especially sensitive or formal requests, you can also contact:
dpo@fitkind.app
Please include enough information for us to identify your account safely, such as:
- The email address tied to your FitKind account
- The type of request you are making
- Any specific data or time period relevant to your request
We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before completing a request.
How FitKind Handles Requests
When you submit a request, FitKind will:
- Confirm receipt
- Verify identity where needed
- Review whether the request applies under the relevant law
- Fulfil the request or explain why a lawful exception applies
We may refuse or narrow a request where the law allows us to do so, including where:
- We cannot verify identity safely
- Disclosure would affect the rights of another person
- We must retain data to comply with legal obligations
- The request is manifestly unfounded or excessive
Deletion and Retention
If you request deletion, FitKind will delete or anonymise personal data where legally permitted.
Some data may need to be retained for limited periods for reasons such as:
- Security and fraud prevention
- Financial or tax recordkeeping
- Legal compliance
- Dispute handling
- Enforcement of platform safety measures
Where full deletion cannot happen immediately, we will explain the relevant retention basis.
In-app account deletion disables your FitKind account and revokes active app sessions. It does not delete source records from Apple Health, HealthKit, Apple Watch, Health Connect, Google, Apple, or your device. Manage those source records and permissions through the relevant platform settings.
Health and Fitness Data
FitKind may process health, workout, and fitness-related information you provide or sync from supported integrations. This data is handled with extra care and is used to operate the product features you request.
FitKind does not sell health data to advertisers or use it for cross-site advertising.
Export may include FitKind-stored health-derived records such as health import logs, daily readiness/fuel aggregates, and workout/activity records where those records exist in FitKind.
If you want synced health data deleted from FitKind, include that clearly in your request so we can handle both account data and FitKind-stored connected-health data appropriately. Deleting FitKind data does not delete source data from Apple Health, Health Connect, Google, Apple, or your device.
Marketing and Analytics Preferences
Where FitKind relies on consent for optional communications or optional analytics features, you can withdraw that consent.
Examples may include:
- Marketing emails
- Optional product research or outreach
- Optional analytics settings where offered inside the app
The public website uses privacy-first analytics and is designed to avoid advertising-cookie style tracking. For more detail, see the Cookie Policy.
International Users
If you use FitKind from outside the UK, additional local privacy rights may apply. FitKind will handle requests in line with applicable law where required.
